    16-yr old Permit

        Are you age 16  ?

           Here are the steps to driving legally in NJ  :

    1) pass the written test in HS (or take the written test at DMV)

     2) go with a licensed driving school to the DMV

              show ID, purchase the Learner's Permit , take an eye exam at dmv

    3) complete the required 6-hours driving instruction with the

                driving school

    4) validate your Learner's Permit
